Welcome, lad! Are you from London or are you planning a trip very soon to the beloved, yet bleak, city? Well during your trip, you can be expected to have a bunch of foodie adventures, because like the rest of the cities in Europe, London has a bunch of their own cuisine that’s unique to the city.
Here are some of the best restaurants in London, if you’re going to be checking them out.
- Wright Brothers
The Wright Brothers invented the plane, but they also are the best restaurant in all of London. You can get some very fresh fish and some drinks from their bar. It’s super casual, but it’s super-fresh shellfish is out of this world. If you’re a big fan of lobsters or oysters, this is the place for you.
Indian food isn’t just for India. This place has some of the best curry in all of London. You’re welcome in to this humble place with some spectacular food, a great winelist and amazing service. The aloo chat is a must-get on the menu.
- Castles’ Pie And Mash
Italy’s a few hours away, but this restaurant brings it pretty close to home. They do pie and mash like they came up with it. It’s a small family business and what you’re getting is always fresh out of the oven. They sell out very quickly, so be sure to get there early.
- 40 Maltby Street
Maltby street is one of a kind, and it’s only made possible by one of the best chefs. You get 6 or 7 different things every day and puddings for dessert. You must try their meat pies.
It’s a little place, but it has a big soul, and if you haven’t tried it, you’re missing out. It’s a hole in the wall and they have some authentic Persian meat. The kebabs and the mezze are huge cravings of ours.
- El Parador
This is an actual tapa bar that serves tapas right. They serve small tapas (bite sized dishes) and you order a whole lot of them. You can try everything on menu, one bite at a time. They have great squid and octopus dishes.
Lyle’s is the definition of Britain. They have a very simple menu, and for £39, you can get their dinner tasting menu. You’re sure to be impressed.
