The motto of chile is “Por la razor o la fuerza” which translated means: “By right or by might.” Do you think that’s a motto you can adopt? Chile, officially, the Republic of Chile, is an American country that hugs the west side of South America all the way up, past Argentina and into Peru. Chile is not just located in South America, it owns Salas y Gomez, Juan Fernandez, Desventuradas, and Easter Island. Chile even owns a piece of Antarctica.
Chile has everything, deserts, mountains, and forests. Being such a long country, it is exposed to a wide range of climates. In it’s desert, it gains a lot of money from the mineral wealth found there. The most common mineral? Copper. Meanwhile northern Chile is rich in forests and grazing farmland, but it also features a long string of volcanoes and beautiful lakes. As you reach the bottom of this long land, you can see it break apart into fjords, canals, inlets, peninsulas, and more and more islands.
Today, Chile is one of the most prosperous and stable nation in South America. It is the head of all other Latin American nations in human development, income per capita, competitiveness, globalization, economic freedom, state of peace, and low perception of corruption. Not only that , but it ants very highly in sustainability of the state, and democratic development. Chile is all this, plus a founding member of the United Nations, the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States, and the Union of South American Nations.
